Visa and other Fees
In accordance with the migration legislation of the Russian Federation, the Russian border control authorities will not allow a foreign national to enter the Russian Federation with a valid visa stamped into the cancelled\expired passport even if he\she has a newly issued passport with him\her.
In such cases, a foreign national should preliminarily make an appointment to one of the Russian Consular posts abroad and transfer his/her Russian visa from cancelled\expired passport to a new one, before his\her arriving to the Russian Federation.
