On March 09, 2020, the award gaining ceremony of the “Precise Energy” Olimpiad was held at the auditorium of the Russian Centre of Science and Culture. The event was organized by ANO “Energy for the Future” jointly with Russian Centre of Science and Culture in Chennai and sponsored by the Russian Atomic Energy Corporation “Rosatom”.

The triple discipline contest in Mathematics, Chemistry and Physics had been conducted in two stages and engaged around 2500 students from 16 Universities in the eight largest cities of Tamil Nadu.

The award function was attended by Mr. Oleg Avdeev, Consul General of the Russian Federation in Chennai, Mr. Gennadii Rogalev, Director of the Cultural Centre, the representatives ANO “Energy for the Future” and “Rosatom” as well as faculty members of one of the leading Russian Universities – Moscow Engineering and Physical Institute.

The second and third prizewinners received mementoes and acknowledgements while the winners in each category were also awarded a trip to Russia. Special awards were given to the students who had shown proficiency in the sphere of nuclear energy.
