Webinar dedicated to life and carrier of Alexander Dubiansky

On December 17, 2020 the webinar dedicated to the life and carrier of the renowned Hindu and Tamil scholar, Russian prof. Alexander Dubiansky was held by the Russian Center of science and culture, Chennai in cooperation with Indo-Russian Chamber of Commerce and industries.

In his address Mr. Oleg Avdeev, Consul General of the Russian Federation in Chennai emphasized that prof. Dubiansky had always been warmly received in Tamil Nadu and  that the untimely demise of esteemed Russian scholar was a great  loss to Tamil language, because prof. Dubiansky was regarded one of the pillars of its glory outside India.

All the esteemed speakers noted different aspects and fields of Alexander Dubiansky's contribution into the teaching, study and spread of the Tamil language, history and culture in Russia. They emphasized the significance of his work for the development of the Russian-Indian relations.
